What can I say but more mannequins.

A unique little town.

The town in Cars, Radiator Springs, was based on what went on this town. One person was responsible for getting the govenor to allocate funds for repaving, restoring, and bringing it back to life just like they did in Radiator Springs.

The Snow Cap Drive-in mascot, this goofy car. We stopped here for a milkshake. It was good but not as good as the one at Ted Drewes back in St. Louis.

Elvis sighting.

She's not real. Nathan was disappointed when he found out. ha

Historic Seligman, Arizona.....and more mannequins.

A cowboy formed from car wheels.

Just keep on driving.

The same old road. A small piece of this pavement is now in my possession.

A tree growing out of the bridge on the old road.

A Desoto.

This place was once a brothel but is now a respectable hotel in Williams.

The Grand Canyon Railway that takes travelers from Williams to the Grand Canyon.

Just make a right turn.

A wooden sign approaching Williams on the old road.

And yet, another alignment even older than the one before. This and the previous 2 alignments run parallel to each other.

An then an older alignment from the previous one.

Older 66 east of Flagstaff.

About 80 trains a day run through here.

Someone else who was there for the same reason we were.

In the opening credits they pull up to this motel that says 'vacancy' on the sign. When the guy comes out and see what kind of people they are he then turns on the 'no vacancy' sign.

We made it out of the Grand Canyon and then to the IMAX for the movie. It was dark when we got to Williams to spend the night. We backtracked to Bellemont, AZ the next morning to visit another scene from Easy Rider and to stop at the Harley shop for a couple of gifts for my brothers..

There is no way I could do what this girl did!

I just can't take enough pictures. And only a small number of them are posted here!

In the distance is Nathan on the ledge. Not too close to the edge but close enough!

As we moved west along the rim we can distinctly see the area where the fire is.

I keep taking pictures thinking I can capture what it really looks like. But it's impossible.

More canyon views. It almost looks like you can see the curvature of the earth.

Ravens were very abundant.

It's impossible for pictures to do this place justice. It's amazing.

Someone has more nerve than I do.
